6 Junior Lakers Commit to Nipissing University

On Friday November 3rd, Six Junior Lakers players made commitments to attend Nipissing University and play for the Lakers Women's Hockey Team. These six players were announced prior to the Lakers vs Ontario Tech Game as part of the 2023 tournament headlining event. 

Layne Barrette, Hannah Brunton, Gracie Roynon, and Taylor Yeo from the U18AA Junior Lakers all signed Letter of Intents to play with the Lakers beginning in the 2024-25 season, while Jorja Dugas (U18AA) and Annabella Cosgrave (U15AA) both made verbal commitments to join the Lakers in 2026 and 2027.
