High Performance Player Pathway
The High Player Pathway (HPP) opens many doors and opportunities for the top level athletes within the province of Ontario. The OWHA offers U18 and U16 development programs such as Team Ontario Blue and Team Ontario Red that compete in national championships, as well as sending athletes and coaches to the Ontario Summer Games every other year. The HPP allows Junior Lakers teams to take part in showcase tournaments and other OWHA sanctioned events where scouts are in attendance looking for the next generation of players for provincial (Team Ontario and PWHL), national, university and college opportunities.
