U13A Find Silver Lining in Oakville

The North Bay Junior Lakers U13A team travelled south this past weekend to take part in the Oakville Hornets Harvest Classic. The Jr.Lakers kicked off the tournament early Friday morning as they took on the Toronto Leaside Wildcats. In the first game, the Junior Lakers came out on top earning a 2-1 win vs the Wildcats, later Friday afternoon the Junior Lakers would earn a close 1-0 win over the Huron Heat. Earning two wins on Friday was pivotal as the Junior Lakers were looking to finish in the top 2 to earn a bye to the semi-finals on Sunday.
